On Monday, July 2, 2012, the NIH satellite parking lot at Mid Pike Plaza will no longer be available for NIH employees as the parking area will move to a new location. The Mid Pike Shuttle will also be renamed to the "Montrose Shuttle" to accommodate this change and will pick up from the Montrose Parking Lot. Employees are reminded that they must display an "NIH Mirror Hanging Parking Permit" or Summer Parking Permit. The designated area will be marked with signage by Montgomery County that is designated "North Bethesda Permits Only" but Montgomery County Parking Enforcement will continue to recognize and honor the NIH Parking Permits. There is no fee to park at the Montrose Parking Lot.
The current parking lot located within the Mid Pike Shopping Plaza will no longer be an authorized NIH Parking Satellite Facility or Shuttle Bus pick up location after Friday, June 30.
