Activities demonstrating work, home and recreational safety from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm including:

  • Self defense demonstration
  • Chef's Table Cooking demonstration
  • "Seat Belt Convincer" ride
  • Police dog demonstration
  • Free health screenings
  • Lab safety demonstration
  • Food for purchase featuring Outdoor Fresh Grille, Grab and Go Kiosk, and Fresh Smoothies
  • CIT Band
  • Over 40 exhibitors

The NIH Safety, Health and Wellness Day will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29th, rain or shine, at Natcher Conference Center from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The opening ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. and be videocast live and archived at http://videocast.nih.gov. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy activities and learn about health and wellness opportunities at NIH.
