Announcing the Newly Enhanced Wellness@NIH Website

The NIH Health and Wellness Council and the Office of Research Services, Division of Amenities and Transportation Services, are proud to announce the re-launch of the newly enhanced Wellness@NIH website, at :https://wellnessatnih.ors.od.nih.gov/.

The Wellness@NIH website serves as the NIH's information clearinghouse on all things related to health and well-being for NIH employees. The website includes pages on fitness, nutrition, tobacco-free, work/life balance, and employee safety, supporting a holistic approach to employee well-being and allowing the NIH to "take its own best advice."

One of the biggest changes to the new site is the conversion of Wellness@NIH from an internal site to a website available to the general public. This allows the NIH's efforts on enhancing health, extending life, and reducing illness and disability to a wider audience. Additionally, the new site is now mobile-optimized, allowing users to view the site on phones and tablets.

To check out the new features go to https://wellnessatnih.ors.od.nih.gov/.

If you have questions or comments about the new site, please contact the Fitness and Well-being Program Manager, Mr. Chris Gaines, at gainesc@mail.nih.gov or by phone at 301-451-3631.

Through the end of June, NIH is highlighting wellness-supporting events through the "Spring into Wellness" campaign. To learn more about NIH-sponsored events that support your financial, social, career, physical and community well-being, check out the campaign website at: https://wellnessatnih.ors.od.nih.gov/Pages/springintowellness.aspx.
