Crane Use to Impact Building 10 B-1 Loading Dock and Cafeteria Beginning June 26
Starting on Friday, June 26, ongoing construction of the E-Wing of Building 10 will again require a 550-ton crane to be placed in the B-1 Loading Dock. The B-1 Loading dock, the adjacent Service Drive and parking spaces for Molecular Imaging will be closed to the public from Friday, June 26 through Sunday, July 12 at 10pm. Signage will alert and redirect pedestrian traffic around the work zone. Flag persons will assist with directing traffic as needed while crane is in operation. Temporary road closures may happen periodically as the crane is transported, assembled and disassembled.
Lot 41 will be used as a staging area for the crane assembly during this period. Approximately 138 parking spaces will be unavailable on the west side of Lot 41 from Friday, June 26 – Sunday, July 12.
