Food Trucks Back on Bethesda Main Campus
Beginning Monday, August 3, the NIH community will have food trucks available to serve staff on the Bethesda Main Campus, rotating between two locations – near the crosswalk between Buildings 35 and 49, and the 10H Parking lot. These trucks will operate daily from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., or until the food runs out, and will rotate between each location weekly. Initially one savory food truck will be onsite, offering a rotating menu each day of the week, including Italian, Mexican Street Tacos, Chinese, Indian, and sandwiches. Dessert trucks will be added soon as well.
Service will begin at the 10H Parking lot on August 3 and will move to the Building 35 cluster on August 10 and then rotate each week. Please see our website at https://go.usa.gov/xfUrv for full details.
We are asking each patron to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus by wearing a facial covering and maintaining physical distancing while waiting in line or receiving your food. Please also remember safe distancing when consuming your lunch.
Continued operation of the food trucks will depend upon demand by the NIH population.
These trucks are managed by the Division of Amenities and Transportation Services (DATS), Office of Research Services (ORS). Please direct comments and concerns to Mr. John Crawford at 301-827-3248 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
