NIH Child Care Wait List for Summer and Fall 2020 Preschool Openings
Preschool Openings for Ages 2-5 Available for Summer and Fall 2020 – Register TODAY for the NIH Child Care Wait List!
The NIH has low numbers of preschool children on the NIH Child Care Wait List – sign your preschooler up now if you have an interest in having your child placed in an NIH Child Care Center this summer.
If you are interested in having your preschool child in an NIH-sponsored child care center, join the NIH Wait List today. You can register online by visiting the NIH Child Care Centers webpage at: https://www.ors.od.nih.gov/pes/dats/childcare/centers/Pages/centers.aspx.
Click on the Webinar button to check out the "Top 10 Things You Need to Know About the NIH Wait List" and click on the Frequently Asked Questions link for information on the centers. Please note federal employees are eligible to use the NIH Child Care Centers. NIH contractors, volunteers and guest researchers are not eligible.
Be sure to learn about each center's curriculum, hours, location, fees and meal options before you select which centers you would like to have on your child's profile. Now is the time to explore these quality options by contacting a Child Care Center (or all three) to schedule a tour or attend an open house!
For those already on the NIH Wait List, make sure your desired date of enrollment and center preferences are up to date to avoid a decline. The Decline Policy was updated on March 1, 2020. Make sure you have read the policy (that can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions/Enrollment Process). You may update your profile by emailing the Wait List Manager at email@example.com.
