NIH Safetycasts In A Minute - Respiratory Protection Program

The Division of Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS), a part of the Office of Research Services, has released another "Safetycast In A Minute" video. This episode reminds personnel that they must be medically cleared by the Occupational Medical Service and fit tested by DOHS before respirator use.  Considering the potential respiratory hazards associated with our clinical, research and facilities maintenance environments, failure to complete medical clearance, fit testing and training can have a negative effect on the employee's health.

Produced by DOHS, these videos highlight and provide brief occupational health and safety changes, tips, etc. More videos on other topics will follow in the coming months.
