The NIH will host the 23rd annual Take Your Child to Work Day (TYCTWD) on Thursday, April 27, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You are invited to bring your school-age child (grades 1 – 12) to NIH for a day of discovery and exploration at our nation's medical research agency.

Starting today, you will be able to securely access the registration site to enter/edit/remove information about your child/ren and browse over 100 activities, including volunteer opportunities for children in grades 6-12.  This is a 'sneak peek' opportunity to preview the activities in advance with your child. Actual registration for these activities begins on March 30 at 12 noon.

***New this year! This year's registration will be conducted in two phases***

-March 30 at noon: Registration Phase 1 (Register child/ren for up to 2 limited space activities each).

-April 6 at noon: Registration Phase 2 (Register child/ren for up to 2 additional limited space activities for a maximum of 4 limited space activities).

This year's pre-registration process will once again include a disclaimer related to photos taken during the event. The parent must check the box to indicate that he or she has read and understood the statement. If a parent does not check this box, he or she will be unable to move onto "Step 2" to register his or her child when registration opens on March 30.

The registration site is only accessible by using your PIV card login credentials (either at work or through VPN). You will not need to create a profile or remember a new password. The site allows you to download a PDF activity schedule to save or print. You can visit the home tab to see important announcements and keep informed, as well as, use the Quick Links to download forms, maps, the shuttle app, student volunteer information and more. Find additional information about the NIH Interpreting Services program at http://www.ors.od.nih.gov/pes/dats/interpret.
