Timothy Tosten
Acting Director, OAM

The Office of Administrative Management (OAM) is a shared service provided to the Office of Research Services (ORS) and the Office of Research Facilities Development and Operations (ORFDO). OAM leads and streamlines initiatives in support of administrative management activities and services within ORS and ORFDO.

OAM also serves as the ORS/ORF focal point for the coordination, preparation, and analysis of a wide variety of administrative management reports and other documents required by the NIH and DHHS. Lastly, OAM provides central ORS/ORF guidance, direction and oversight on a number of organizational and workforce initiatives including competitive sourcing activities and administrative consolidation.

In total, OAM provides administrative support services and ensures compliance and accountability for more than 1,313 federal employees and 3,780 contractors across the ORS and ORFDO.

Organization

OAM is comprised of the Division of Administrative Operations (DAO) and the Division of Quality Management & Policy (DQMP). By standardizing processes and balancing cost and service levels, OAM's shared services model is able to maximize the support provided to each organization within ORS.
