Medical Arts participates in the 2017 NIH Take Your Child to Work Day. We hosted 4 separate events for the annual NIH TYCTWD
- Human Anatomy body part paste-up. Participant torso was outlined on a large sheet of paper to which cut put organs were affixed
- Hand Anatomy.
In this section the bones of the hand were taught by painting anatomically correct bones directly on a participant's hand - Edible (Editable) DNA in which young participants created edible DNA made out of licorice and colored marshmallows which taught them about DNA base pairing and the double helix
