Work and Family Month

The Work and Family Month occurred VIRTUALLY in 
October 2020.  Resources and events are always available for your reference and viewing.  We will continue to update this webpage with informative and valuable resources to assist you with your current and future work and family responsibilities.  Work and Family Month is a partnership of the NIH Office of Research Services and Office of Human Resources.

There is something for EVERYONE:

  • federal employees, fellows/trainees, and contractors
  • newly hired, mid-career employees, and those looking towards retirement
  • single people, married couples, child dependents, and adult/elder dependents  
Working parents/caregivers will also find specific information/resources related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Work and Family Month resources and events are available in many formats:  websites, PDFs, archived webinars and vignettes. 
Resources and events are divided in to themes that target a specific phase during your work and family life cycle.  Each theme is located in the far left box under Theme & Resources.

Theme 2:  Mid-Career Employees, and Those With Children of All Ages 

Theme 3:  Pre-Retirement Employees, and Those With Adult Dependent and Elder Care Needs
