Ms. Tynese Harris began her career in federal government service with U.S. Secret Service in 1987 at James J. Rowley Training Center in Beltsville, Maryland. During her 10 year tenure, she scheduled all student training for special agents, counter assault team, canine and uniformed division officers.
In 2015, she was hired at the NIH Division of Police, and Guard Force Operations Branch as a Security Assistant later Program Assistant to the Police Operations Branch. Ms. Harris has thrived and excelled showing a high level of interest and initiative, becoming the key point of contact for travel, credit card purchases, timekeeping, officer equipment acquisition, mandatory training and classes in the Bethesda environs and the Rocky Mountain Laboratories Unit, while effortlessly building a network of positive working relationships with vendors and NIH community.
Ms. Harris' superior performance manifested itself in her invaluable achievements which have permeated all facets of her duties and responsibilities which are linked to the overall alignment of the DP's mission. She possesses a high level of enthusiasm, energy and is an important contributor to continued operations and growth of the organization.
