The NIH Transportation Services Branch of the Division of Amenities and Transportation Services (DATS) handles the parking needs for employees, patients, and visitors to the NIH's main campus in Bethesda, MD. The Transportation Branch manages parking throughout the campus through parking permits and parking attendants. The branch also assists commuters in finding and using alternative transportation commuting options. Please click on a button to learn more about a specific parking topic. 

DATS offers customers the ability to perform various requests and actions online through an IT system called Commuting and Parking Services (CAPS). Parking on the NIH Main Campus can be challenging due to limited spaces for a large number of employees. Below are resources to seek alternative commuting options and find more information about parking permits on the NIH Main Campus.
