Mission Statement
The Division of Amenities and Transportation Services (DATS), Program and Employee Services (PES), Office of Research Services (ORS), supports the mission of NIH by providing a variety of worksite enrichment programs and transportation services that benefit NIH employees, guests, visitors, patients and their families. DATS is comprised of two branches – the Amenities Programs Branch and Transportation Services Branch. Through the administration of use-agreements and performance based contracts, DATS is committed to delivering the best programs and services to meet the diverse and evolving needs of the NIH community.

About the Director
Susan Cook
Ms. Susan Cook joined the Office of Research Services (ORS) as the Director of the Division of Amenities and Transportation Services (DATS) in December 2012. As the DATS Director, Ms. Cook oversees several work site enrichment programs and transportation services.
Ms. Cook began her NIH career on April 26, 1987 as a Chemist. She spent five years in the Radiation Oncology Branch, National Cancer Institute (NCI). After earning a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences, Ms. Cook entered the administrative area. She served as an Administrative Officer and Program Analyst at the NCI while earning a Master of Business Administration. Ms. Cook continued her administrative career at the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) before joining DATS. She is very proud to serve the NIH community for nearly 30 years.
In her leisure time, Ms. Cook enjoys relaxing with her active family, walking and watching baseball. She is an avid Baltimore Orioles baseball fan.
